Communication Style

Without a team of effective communicators, say farewell to your aspirations for successful leadership, teamwork, customer service, or even the ability to execute a coherent business strategy.

If you want to bring about meaningful improvements in communication skills, the best way to begin is to build a better understanding of personal communication styles and their effects on other people. That’s how an assessment can help.

Individuals respond to 24 different items relating to both verbal and nonverbal communication by selecting the statement ending that they believe best reflects their perceived communication behavior.

The assessment takes about 15 minutes to complete.

The Interpersonal Influence Inventory is designed to help you assess the manner in which you choose to influence others.  The Interpersonal Influence Inventory Model upon which the statements are based is an assertive behavior model.

This Model consists of the following areas:  Openness of Communication and Consideration for Others.  It measures which quadrant an individual falls into:  Openly Aggressive Behavior; Concealed Aggressive Behavior; Concealed Aggressive Behavior; or Passive Behavior.  These are the four different styles of behavior people use when trying to influence others.

This assessment takes about 20 minutes to complete.
